Sarcoid free 2 years now

Haven't written much I have really been focusing on my goals and appreciating all the little things. Not sure if I'm out of the woods completely and don't really care. Not sure wether to call it remission or something else but I do know that it's important to take time to look around and smell the roses. As far as I'm concerned I fired my doctor (or so he said). I still think about it because I don't want to let myself forget.

Just thought I'd check in...

I just found your blog. You are so lucky to be in remission. I was diagnosed 17 years ago with lupus. Only one problem with that; I never had lupus, I have sarcoidosis. It has affected my right eye, lungs, heart, nervous system, parotid lymph node, and adrenal glands. Thanks for your blog it is very helpful.

Jane thanks for leaving a comment. I'm glad to know this blog can be helpful. It really makes me want to continue writing in it but it gets difficult because I'm out of the loop. The fact they thought you had lupus doesn't surprise me. They thought I had lymphoma.

Haven't these doctors ever watched "house"? Its never lupus!

I was diagnosed with SARC about 6 months ago. The Dr. Prescribed Pred and I have a profound dislike for it. I have an appointment in Sep. To see if its in remission. I know that I am certain that with this disease I have a totally different perspective on life. I am glad to finally have a diagnosis and to find out that I am not crazy !
Good luck to you all.,
Doug
